Naval Aviation History Branch


The Naval Aviation History Office was established in January 1942. The office deals with subject matter on Naval Aviation from its beginnings in 1911 to the present time. It provides research assistance; maintains record collections; and publishes articles, monographs, and books on Naval Aviation.

Location:
Washington Navy Yard, First floor of Building 157, entrance is on the east side of the building on 10th Street. Building 157 is on the left after entering the 9th and M Street Navy Yard gate. The building is accessible to the handicapped.

Hours:
Monday and Tuesday: 0900 - 1600 (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
Wednesday: CLOSED
Thursday and Friday: 0900 - 1600 (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
CLOSED: Weekends and Federal holidays
